WINNERS OF THE NHS-1963 SCHOLARSHIP CLASS OF 2015
In 2015, $1,000 scholarships were awared to Adam Buskey and Savahna Justason.
Adam was elected the Nashua High School Class President for three of the past four years. While at Nashua High School South, Adam had a long and impressive list of academic accomplishments, including an outstanding GPA of 4.07. Adam was also a member of the Student Activities team, where he helped foster school spirit and activities to engage other students in school life. Adam was also a member of the NHS Baseball Team. Adam would like to become a teacher following college and plans to attend Keene State College.
Savahna demonstrated a strong commitment to achievement while facing many challenges being an independent student responsible for her own finances and support while at NHS South. Despite that, she achieved an excellent GPA of 3.93, served as a varsity cheerleader for four years and worked voluntarily at the “Nashua Goes Back to School” event each year. Savahna wishes to pursue a career in neuroscience following college, and she plans to attend Quinipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
