What does Tusitala even mean? And where does it come from?
The reputation of the romantic vagabond author Robert Louis Stevenson ("Treasure Island", "A Child's Garden of Verses", the "Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde") followed him to Samoa where the local people revered him, and named him Tusitala, a word meaning " THE STORY TELLER" or "THE TELLER OF TALES"
OUR YEARBOOKS
Throughout our high school years, the NHS Class of 1963 was gracious enough to share the hallways, lunchrooms, music groups, athletic teams and, in some cases, classrooms..... with members of other nearby NHS classes. Do you remember the name of that upper classman that bullied and intimidated you? or that guy or gal you had a crush on? Or the one upper classman who became a friend and guided you? Take a tour with us to revisit the names and faces of every one of the over 1600 classmates who shared our NHS experience with us.
